Mike founded MF Digital Marketing on the premise that, in order to deliver unprecedented enrollment results for graduate schools, nothing compares to meaningful engagement with the target audience over the lifetime of their decision making process. Mike and his team have executed successful campaigns for Michigan State University, Indiana University, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of South Florida, Arizona State University, and many others.

 

Joyce DeFrancesco

Joyce DeFrancesco

Joyce DeFrancesco worked in nonprofit communications and marketing for 20 years, including more than a decade in various higher education institutions. While she has experience in virtually any communication or marketing function you can imagine, content creation and project management are her favorite things. She has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Bethany College, a decades-long obsession with the original “Law & Order,” and an average word score of 26.5 in Words with Friends.

 

Brian Hughes

Brian Hughes

Brian brings more than 15 years of design and communications experience to each MF Digital project he takes on, and has collaborated with Mike Fogarty on successful marketing campaigns for over a decade. When he’s not crafting a beautiful marketing campaign or championing the environment, Brian is often found fishing, cycling or making beer.

 

Elena Sakopoulos

Elena Sakopoulos

Elena joined the MF Digital team at the end of 2021, and brings a decade of experience in online advocacy campaigns, content creation, and project management. She graduated with honors from the University of Chicago, makes to-do lists in her sleep, and spends as much time as she can on Lake Michigan when weather permits.

 

Peter Sparacino

Peter Sparacino

Peter brings a wealth of search marketing expertise to MF Digital, having worked in customer acquisition in hospitality, retail and other verticals. His analysis experience encompasses markets, spend commitments and campaign performance, which combine to provide all-important insights into current market trends, seasonality impacts, and the significance of brand awareness.

 

Shannon Wanna

Shannon Wanna

One of MF Digital’s newest team members, Shannon has more than 12 years of experience managing digital advertising campaigns, working in the trenches optimizing, troubleshooting, and analyzing display, video, paid search, and social campaigns across a variety of industries. She lives and breathes data and analytics, and loves reading those digital tea leaves.

 

Em Hall

Em Hall

Em Hall is an award-winning marketer with over 15 years of experience in digital campaigns and strategic communications for a broad range of clients. She holds Masters degrees in Philanthropic Studies and US History from Indiana University, and earned her BA with honors in Political Science from the University of Chicago. In her downtime, you can find Em watching Law & Order and teaching her old cats new tricks.

Doug is a seasoned online marketer and web developer with over 15 years experience in paid media, SEO, and front-end web technologies. He focuses on generating high quality traffic that delivers targeted leads. This includes campaign optimization, analytics reporting, and building landing pages.

John Birmingham, MBA

John is an accomplished senior marketing executive with experience leading packaged goods, financial services, media and higher education marketing teams. For six years, he served as the Chief Marketing Officer at DeVry University, providing leadership to all facets of marketing covering brand strategy, digital/mobile optimization, data analytics, and PR/Partnership efforts. Since 2018, he’s led operations in the central region for the Spark Foundry, a global media agency brand within Publicis Media.

 

John Bremer, PhD

John Bremer, PhD

John is to research what Armstrong is to jazz — an innovator. He not only co-directed the Harris Center for Innovation, but also served as a senior research assistant to 2000 Nobel Prize in Economics winner Dr. James Heckman, specializing in selection bias issues. In 2011, John joined Toluna as Chief Research Officer, where he specialized in the areas of non-probability sampling, rare populations, selection bias, and online surveys.  Today, he serves as Chief Research Officer and Group President for The NPD Group, a leading analytics agency.

Alex Duke, PhD

Alex Duke, PhD

Alex has more than 25 years experience in recruiting, admissions and student affairs, having held positions as Assistant Dean and Director of Admissions & Student Affairs, among other posts. Alex has been associated with some of the country’s most prestigious graduate schools of business, educational institutions and public policy organizations, including the University of Southern California, UCLA, the RAND Corporation, Miami University, and the University of Illinois.

 

Rob Mooth

Rob Mooth

Rob has over 25 years of experience helping brands and clients grow with applied analytics. His experience spans leadership roles with both manufacturers and agencies, including P&G, BASES, Nielsen, and Ipsos. He’s helped launch dozens of successful new products, brought new analytical tools and systems to the market, published numerous articles and white papers on marketing topics, and led global client teams servicing the world’s leading marketers.

Susan Rotkis, JD

Susan Rotkis, JD

Susan Rotkis has 25 years of legal experience that covers a broad range of turf. She has been a US Senate staff member, Legislative and Legal Counsel for the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, served two stints as a Law clerk for United States Federal District Court Magistrate Judges, and general counsel for a defense-oriented technology start-up. Since 2019, she has served as a trial attorney for the Price Law Group in Tucson, Arizona.

 

Lisa Weinstein

Lisa Weinstein

Lisa Weinstein is an established media brand all by herself. She currently serves as CEO of Brick & Batten, an exterior design firm. She formerly served as the CEO of Signal and Curiosity.com, and has operated as a strategic consultant for venture capital firms, start-up companies, growth-stage companies, and established businesses since 2015.
